City officials show lack of consideration

How low will West Palm Beach Mayor Jeri Muoio and three of the city commissioners stoop for a few votes?
The mayor, Kimberly Mitchell, Shanon Materio and Keith James lobbied the New York State Parole Board for the release of a murderer who used crack, had a long criminal record and was described by the presiding judge as “a deadly piece of work” (“Officials’ letters: Parole killer,” Jan. 21).

Good for us citizens that the parole board had our best interests in mind and denied parole, citing “the heinous brutal nature” of the murder and that “you expressed little remorse for the victim.”

The Post article questioned whether there was an ethics violation. Ethics? How about lack of trust, common sense and consideration for the taxpayers city officials are supposed to represent? Members of this group are wasting their “talent” in West Palm Beach; they should be in Washington.

Editor's Note.  Today there was another citizen who wrote a Letter to the Editor who was outraged by the actions of these commissioners and public officials.   All of these people need to be VOTED OUT of office.

Ethics (PBC) has nothing to do w/what we consider common sense ethics! You have to prove they did it for money!

I watched them write the ordinances and a lawyer friend put it best, "It's a 'How To' get away with anything ordinance" and really far from anything ethical WE THOUGHT WE VOTED FOR!
