Comment Up

Help shape the future of your park system

Dear Palm Beach County Resident:

We know how important your park system is to you.

That’s why we’re committed to providing first class parks and recreation services for you and others in our community here in Palm Beach County. To this end, we have contracted with Management Learning Laboratories, a nationally recognized consultant, to conduct a comprehensive community-wide parks and recreation needs assessment. This assessment, which includes an online survey, will help determine the current parks, recreation, and leisure needs of Palm Beach County residents, and it will help us plan for the future.

Your input is important to us. These survey questions were developed by focus group participants who, like yourself, are residents of Palm Beach County.

I hope you’ll consider taking a few moments from your busy schedule to carefully read and respond to the online survey. If it is completed by another member of your family, we ask that the respondent be an adult. Please complete your questionnaire within two weeks. Your privacy is important to us. Please note that your name is not requested, and individual responses are strictly confidential. The survey is available at the following link https://surveymonkey.com/s/PBCII

If you have any questions or need assistance in completing the questionnaire, please call Management Learning Laboratories at (877) 789-5247.

The results of this survey will be made available on the Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department website at www.pbcparks.com.

Thank you for your time and for your valuable input.

Sincerely,

Eric Call

Eric Call, Director
Palm Beach County Parks & Recreation Department

This anonymous survey will be bastardized by county Commissioners like Shelley Vana that want to promote a baseball stadium at all costs in Palm Beach County. You do not have to identify yourself, so this thing is bogus from the get-go.I'm sure that this "survey" will show that 300% of the people in Palm Beach county want major league baseball here while only 2% want more campgrounds or hiking trails !

John Prince Park needs serious help. It's dirty and dangerous. It was a nice place but has really deteriorated in the last 10 years.

11:38, is this Scott Maxwell, Shelley Vana or one of their toadies ? JPP is NOT dangerous. It really is a beautiful place that is enjoyed by thousands every day.Vana and the County Commissioners need to increase funding to all of our parks.

Tell that to the girl who was attacked by a crazy druggie a couple months ago. Go to the bathroom by the basketball courts, see for yourself. I don't want a baseball stadium.
