Mr. Hemraj's last job assignment was with the County of Monterey, California as the Chief Deputy Auditor-Controller/Audit Chief/Deputy Treasurer-Tax Collector.
He begins his job with the City of Lake Worth on February 2, 2015.

What is this world coming to? a non-white expatriate as Finance Director for Lake Worth? WOW, what is this world coming to? and there is the possibility that a Black-Haitian-American could become City Commissioner... maybe just maybe we're coming of age.
It's about qualifications, Manny--not race. You should be voting for the best person, not the color of his skin or his heritage. This is why Obama is president right now. Why do you all make everything about race? We have never discriminated in this city. What I do call attention to are the ILLEGALS.

This comment is offensive and maybe racist. Obama is a wonderful president, he has done so much for this country. Have you forgotten how things were for 8 + years before he took office? I really take offense to people constantly bashing President Obama, he has done a lot to improve the economy, get equal rights for all people, improve foreign relations, the list goes on and on. His only fault is not doing enough about the national debt, that is it. The people elected Obama twice as they wanted someone like him to turn things around and he has. It pains me to see you knock him so.

Be a great American, hire an undocumented citizen... you will help them get a meal for self and family... they need it... this country is big enough for all of us... contrary to what some think, they are humans and looking for a better life.
Undocumented is against the law. Until the law is changed, and I hope that it never does, then hire an American citizen. All you bleeding hearts should respect American law. Follow Marco Rubio's policy on immigration--it makes sense. And Manny, you have been drinking the Koolaid from the other blogger.
First off, congratulations to Nerahoo Hemraj for landing the job, and secondly, Manny you are being really rude and racist. Again, this guy seems more than qualified to take on the finance manager post so I don't see why you have to bring colour into the picture.
Unfortunately, he did not last long in this city---terminated last year or left on his own accord...who knows?
