Thought for the Day - Ayn Rand Quotes

Comment Up
"Individual rights are not subject to a public vote; a majority has no right to vote away the rights of a minority; the political function of rights is precisely to protect minorities from oppression by majorities (and the smallest minority on earth is the individual)."

"We are fast approaching the stage of the ultimate inversion: the stage where the government is free to do anything it pleases, while the citizens may act only by permission; which is the stage of the darkest periods of human history, the stage of rule by brute force."

~ Ayn Rand

Great Quote!
Pro bond property owners and renters should not be allowed to increase taxes of anti bond property owners. We have mob rule locally and nationally.

Our Rights (like DNA) come from our creator and governments are created to protect those rights NEVER TO DICTATE (like Kings & Queens) what the people CAN GET "Permission" & pay for the "PERMIT" to do! The Government Must Get Permission (CONSENT of the GOVERNED) from We the People to do anything! Then it must follow the Constitution they swore an oath to uphold!
