First Amendment Blues and a Temper Tantrum

Comment Up

We had enough of the First Amendment Blues last night. No one commenting could make an opinion on the election.  They could only discuss their trials and tribulations at their precincts and boy did they come out of the woodwork.  95% of them were those who voted FOR the bond.  Many people had to leave and could not speak  as the meeting went on so long with unlimited time given to those telling their tales. According to witnesses, as soon as Peter Timm was at the lectern and speaking, a woman in the back row who likes to jabber during meetings, called the deputy to proceed to the front just in case Mr. Timm got loud and obnoxious and spoke the truth.  After the meeting, we got a temper tantrum.  The same woman was seen pounding her fist on a person's car who had attended the meeting just as that person was driving away from City Hall.

I realize most critical comments on your reporting are deleted. But I must tell you your temper tantrum story was fabricated. You never encountered anything as you did not step foot in the parking lot. You left mumbling about the meeting with a couple of your buds got in a car and left. Do your sarcastic reporting but try to throw in a smidge of truth.

I have no knowledge of what happened in the parking lot or what was said by the parties, anonymous, but I did cross it to get to the car that was parked on the street. I was a witness to the fist pounding incident and who did it. So, twist it again. You don't like my reporting? Awe, gee.

Correct me if I am wrong. This is a staged blog. You are the puppeteer who writes inflammatory nonsense which has some fraction of truth and then you wait for your core to soak it in and write rambling b.s. Case in point would be Suzanne S. Have I got it right?

Did the driver file a police report?

11:18....you guys really need to get over this tremendous loss you just had and stop the nonsense.

If you recall, you lost the vote. Therefore there are 50% of the voters who might just agree with me, anonymous. Take your anonymous BS crap somewhere else and continue on as a puppet and a tool for the city that is known now for trying to grab the cash with no acceptable plan.

What a waste of time that meeting was. I saw clips of it and decided my not going was "spot on". Just gibberish from sore losers looking for any excuse why they spent do much $ and still lost. Issues arrive at every single election across the USA and we have to admit our system is just not as PERFECT as we all want it to be.
Lets get on with a plan that is fair and affordable to All residents.

Sorry, you are wrong. I voted against because of the inclusion of the poc. Also much of the plan was not disclosed and really not rolled out organised. Anyway, your sarcasm and disrespect of people who genuinely want this city to succeed is a turnoff. You have made yourself an enemy of officials and staff. To move forward we have to work with the city. Your blog does not exhibit any chance of that in our future.

You got it wrong...it is not I with the disrespect...it is this commission.
You don't like my blog...why come here?
I take positions and don't straddle fences as you seem to do.

If this commission really wants us to succeed, then they would have taken another avenue on this money grab. They didn't.

I would not expect this commission to like what I write nor the staff. But they need to listen and as it stands, they didn't even listen to you, anonymous above. Who is more honest? I don't care whether I am liked by them or by you. I will continue to point out the facts and you can hide behind whatever it is you hide behind to be liked by everyone.

Now this shouldn't even hurt your feelings as you are, afterall, anonymous...except for the personal attack you made on LW Local thanks to your friend, the mayor.

Since when does any member of the public direct an officer in a meeting (w/the mayor as chair) and they obey?

And who was the target, Mr. Timm who is a senior citizen! How is that inflammatory nonsense unless you don't recognize it as elder abuse?

Would the mayor dare treat her father like Mr. Timm or allow anyone else to bullie him? I think not!

At least I have the balls to post in my name anonymous, where are yours?

Anonymous said...

Yes Ms. Peebul you have the balls, but it helps that coming out with your name to be thought of as nutso.

Triolo just looked into the camera and pissed on a majority of the people that bother to vote in Lake Worth.I really hope that she is stupid enough to run for office again.

YES, thank God for Lynn, this blog, and the TRUTH. Bottom line, the city leaders DO NOT LISTEN to the public. They do no respect the citizens nor listen or care what we think, they think they only know best. Now all will never be re-elected, bad news. Thanks Lynn for your blog, your voice, your caring ways, and the truth. All educated people in this city with any logic and common sense saw through all of this tax grab, Lynn, thank you so much for you blog and information, the truth often hurts some, but it is best for us.
