German Chief of Staff appointed over U.S. European command

Comment Up

USAREUR , a part of the U.S. Department of the Army, trains and leads Army Forces in support of the U.S. European Command. "Besides hundreds of smaller military-to-military interactions, they participate in numerous large, multinational land power exercises throughout the European continent. It conducts training for the 25,000 U.S. soldiers and almost 40,000 U.S. service members to make them combat-ready for deployment anywhere in the world."

And now what happens? Obama appoints a German, with no allegiance to our Constitution, as Chief of Staff! What next, Obama?  In actuality, the chief of staff does not command troops—he commands the general staff office. He answers to the commanding general of the U.S. Army - Europe, Lt. Gen. Donald M. Campbell Jr., U.S. Army. So, Obama must be trying to smooth relations with Germany for all that sneaky spying and stuff. Liberals are going to love this though.
