Finance Advisory Board chair in Lake Worth recommends a FOR vote
So what's new?
Op Ed piece in Sunday's Post from the chair of the Finance Advisory board, a board that has always advocated the position of city Hall. Most all board appointments are political.
We need to change the ethics law to clearly speak to the problem of Volunteer boards advocating for anything while they serve! The PBC Ethics commission CAN NOT DONATE to any candidate or issue while they serve and if it's a good thing for them - it should be the same for ALL!!!
There is no 'S' on my forehead for 'stupid' and I get that the yes PAC is serving food AND BABYSITTING to BUY VOTES at a city presentation is morally wrong! With position comes responsibility. Responsibility to NOT ABUSE YOUR POSITION!
