A Creep is Dead

Comment Up

A murdering creep was in Starke for killing a couple in 1974.  Later in 1980 he killed a guard there. It took this long for him to get his just due.  Askari Abdullah Muhammad is now dust and he won't be finding 40 virgins in heaven.

This posting is offensive to some degree. Two wrongs do not make a right. We are not God. The death penalty is murder too, not any better. It must stop. Abortion and the death penalty are forms of murder which we need to stop in our society in the USA. You do not know what his soul is experiencing now that he has left our world. What he did here was wrong, but what we do, by killing others, is wrong too.

thank you. I certainly can see your perspective on this issue. I have a lot of conflicting emotions about the death penalty. However, when I think of evil people, 911, or put myself in the family of the victim, I believe that the death penalty is just. It took 40 years to execute him if you consider his original murders of 2 people--40 years longer than they got to live. We're not God as you say but God gives us the freewill and intelligence to make laws that are just. Frankly, I don't care what his soul is feeling right now. he never regretted these murders...sounds like a soulless person to me.

It never ceases to amaze me why people have sympathy for the damn criminal.

Excellent response Lynn...I couldn't agree with you more (and I don't agree with you often).

Thanks, and as Tom McGow would put it, "Thanks, I guess."

WWJD? Jesus doesn't want us to judge and he wants us to show compassion, even for the sinner and bad people. God doesn't want us to murder. Catholics are against the death penalty and abortion, would Jesus side with the Catholics or say it is OK, he was a poor soul and deserves to die because of what he did? Murder is murder, it is all still such an eye for eye mentality. An eye for an eye, can it make the whole world go blind thinking this way? Two wrongs do not make it right. Maybe there is someone like a Mother Teresa here on earth that could have helped to change this soul? Every human being has potential with the right support. Emmanuel means God is with us, we all have the potential to be like God. Think about Pope John Paul II, he was shot and almost murdered by a crazy guy who tried to kill him. He forgave him and went to his prison cell to meet with him after, telling him he forgave him. We all need to listen to the song by Matthew West, Forgiveness, it is so empowering, check it out at:

We need to ask God everyday how to love the unlovable, use eyes of grace that God gave us, we need to be practice forgiveness more. We need to try to reach the unreachable, God gave this to all of us, we all need to use it. Murder is wrong, the death penalty is wrong, abortion is wrong, the other day I saw a bumper sticker that said you cannot be por-abortion and say you are a Catholic. It is the same, you cannot say you are pro death penalty and say you are a Christen. WWJD? WWJS?
