The Big "Fool"

Comment Up

Red and Green highlights depict poverty over 23.3%
with green being the highest

It just seems that there is the big "fool" going on...pulling the wool over the Feds eyes as well as the citizens of Lake Worth. We have to prove poverty and prove need in order to even apply to have an Enterprise Zone so that we can attract businesses to build or relocate into our city so that they can get free stuff.

The City has been diligent in attempting to prove its case to the Feds by including residential neighborhoods. If these neighborhoods become enterprise zones, it could very possibly affect residential property values down the road and not in a positive way. Can you even imagine someone saying, "Dear, how would you like to move and invest in a residential property in Lake Worth...but by the way, the city's a poverty zone--everyone is poorer than dirt."

The City should insist that enterprise zones include the commercial Dixie Highway corridor, the Park of Commerce and any needy commercial/industrial sections in our city instead of using the residential neighborhoods to prove its case.

They are using the lake osborne area where hundreds of seniors live on retirement income. Most of these people have resources but it does not reflect in their incomes. This map is ridiculous and an insult. It certainly is not poverty stricken out here. Shame.

Ask - Don't Tell!

We need to address the commissioners addiction to "Free Stuff" cause they
are killin' us out here!

No prostitute should be arrested - at least they make an honest transaction where both parties agree on the 'service'! Our elected get on their knees and service 'grant' but our grandchildren will pay the bill!

This my friends IS the Plan - it is on purpose - the elected are being taught how to ignore US and get around US! (Gotta see the workshops offered to staff - "How to SHUT US UP" and "Coach OUR Elected" to get around our concerns) Silly kids - they still must live amongst US - We the People can and will 'fix this' and get the elected to understand their proper role in government. It is our 'borrowed' authority or what WE ALLOW them to do for US NEVER AGAINST US! "*Due Process"

As we the people 'get it' the elected will 'get it' or 'get out'. Let's make their 'nest' more uncomfortable!
Anyone who thinks they can destroy my property rights and take my life savings w/out a fight for some failed 'idea' is sadly mistaken!

As w/kids - if they don't 'hear' you, sometimes they have to 'feel' you.
We got ticked at the King and declared our Independence - Just what do you think the people will do today w/social media in a "Walkable" city?

Ba-bye Bad Guys!
Obey the LAW 1st or
be-Gone!

*"The concept of due process originated in English Common Law. The rule that individuals shall not be deprived of life, liberty, or property without notice and an opportunity to defend themselves predates written constitutions and was widely accepted in England. The Magna Charta, an agreement signed in 1215 that defined the rights of English subjects against the king, is an early example of a constitutional guarantee of due process."

This is about attracting BUSINESSES here, anonymous. A business cannot be built in a residential neighborhood, unless of course, the present P&Z changes the LDR's--anything is possible in this city and that's why we need a YES vote on amendment 2.
