Regarding the editorial against height limits in Lake Worth, let’s vote YES Tuesday on height limits but look again in five years.

For now, let’s see what our new beach project will bring us. In addition, why doesn’t The Palm Beach Post publish the drawings of overbuilt development? If the “just build it” group wants higher buildings, let’s see completion of other projects that were rushed to build but were left as eyesores or Section 8 housing around town. If building then didn’t solve our problems, how will building now do so?

Problems we foresee with the “build it” plan for hotels: Would our roads handle the certain increase in traffic, especially in that area? Where would employees park? Where would guests park? Where and how often would delivery trucks arrive?

Let’s entice corporations to build west of Dixie Highway and create higher-paying jobs. Opposition to six-story buildings at our beach gateway doesn’t mean that we want to do nothing. Rather, we strive to keep this city as the last quaint beach town in Palm Beach County. That is what made all of us, on both sides, fall in love with this city.

Where do you live so that someone can check it out. You guys are trying very hard with all the negatives trying to bring everyone down because they disagree with you. Gosh, it's fun in this city.
