Obama was for it before he was against it - Sequestration
Everyone has the right to change his mind,
even the President of the United States. Right?

According to the NY Times the sequester was our President's very own idea! “The president first proposed this ‘sequester’ in 2011 and insisted it be part of the debt-limit agreement.”
