Did an owner break the law???

Comment Up

A twisted negative vote NO message from someone who put up a ridiculous sign at this property. Is this on the swale? This owner got money from the CRA (tax money) to re-do the parking lot and plant trees.

Note:  This blog was corrected because of new information.

Andy has a property at Dixie and Lake? Did he start a new business?

It has just come to my attention that this is not Amoroso's store...his is further up on Dixie.

Lynn there was a great piece in the local news about this issue.
A Harvey Millstein I'm sure you know him changed his mind about voting after the truth was expained to him. Another voter said you guys were using scare tactics to scare voters.
Is everybody lying? You should run the piece and let your readers make up their own minds.

I have been writing about this issue for months now and you still don't understand it? Harvey Millstein just doesn't get it either? Both of you should give me a call so that I can explain it. Geez. Just read my past blogs if you want to know the truth.

The Vote NO people are using scare tactics and confusing the issue and putting up illegal signs all over the place. This is NOT about jobs, Mayor. does anyone have any sense here? Stop falling for the developer backed politics and the Chamber of Commerce who don't care a fig about our city, only more members to its organization.

How are We lying we are talking about a few lots east of Federal highway that must be a hotel or it cannot be built to 65 feet. this has nothing to do with scaring people. Your group on the other hand is forgetting to let the public know that what your group wants is for a very small portion of the city. The rest of the city will still be under the building heights that are now in place. If I wanted to go to let say 4th and F st and buy the whole block I would be able to build to 100 feet. Let your readers know that. There goes the small quaint charm of the city, and there go the cottages-.

First of all--I am with NO group. I happen to believe in keeping our city a low-rise city, a city that has been my home for decades.

Next, the entire perimeters surrounding the area of the referendum is not part of this debate. In fact, you should check your facts for accuracy on what can or cannot be built in the city. Call Mr. Waters.

Thirdly, the Negative NO group is the most dishonest in the history of elections. Signs are appearing everywhere on public right of ways for a starter. The PAC, Loretta and Greg paid someone to ride around on a bike and plant signs on every corner that had a swale whereas the Respectful Planning PAC that IS respectful by the way, has theirs on private property with permission of the owner. Even the message of the "Friends" is a lie.

So, if you should win by fooling the public in this manner, you have won on a lie and this group is the most corrupt Lake Worth has ever encountered even from the Lake Worth Herald, a guy who should know better but publishes smut and lies.

HOPE YOU DON'T WIN because Lake Worth would suffer that much more because of you people. You all need to resign from the boards as this is surely a conflict.

For someone who is with NO group you have certainly worn their shirt to City Hall enough, and you are pushing their propaganda every chance you can............

I SUPPORT their message, anonymous.

For the record, I have NEVER worn their shirt at a city commission meeting.

Can the lies ever stop with you people?

Lynn Can you ever admit to something that you have done? As I remember the afternoon meeting at City Hall you when they decided to put this issue off till March, and you were screaming bloody murder outside, you were wearing you Pac tee shirt. Hope this jogs your memory a little.

That was a hell of a long time ago, anonymous. Glad your memory is better than mine. The low Rise t-shirt has only been in existence for a few months. There was a shirt that we wore during the petiton process...is that the one? Can't confirm whether or not I wore it at city hall. But who cares?

Sure you don't have me confused with Loretta's son who always wears a campaign t-shirt? :)

Anonymous said...

No Lynn, it was you and the shirt you had on is pictured on the left side of your page,¨Voters´right on Building Heights¨ it say´s right on it is a PAC so if you are not involved with them, why would you wear their shirt?????

Lynn, It´s Loretta´s son, someone told me that you wrote about me. I never come on your blog, but I did want to say yes i do wear campaign t-shirts to city hall I am proud of what I belive in. And am not afraid to show My support.

That's not what this t-shirt says, Anonymous. Vote Yes on 2 - Keep Lake Worth Low Rise. if you remember me wearing the petitioning t-shirt, good for you--it must have made an impact with you.

how is this possible we are a business owner and have been asking for grant money--they have said for years they have none---someone look into this---once again somone is doing wrong again---the cra needs to be investigated for what activities are going on and they need to keep eyes wide open---
