You either have no idea what you are talking about or you are intentionally trying to deceive people.
The Seagate may only be 4 stories high but the foot print of the building is 10 times the size of the Gulfstream. The front of the building along Atlantic Ave. alone is 5 times as wide as where the Gulfstream is.
Please try to use accurate comparisons when it comes to hotels.

I am giving HEIGHT COMPARISONS, anonymous. I could give a flying fig about FOOTPRINTS. Let's not divert and get stupid and deceive the public as you are doing. No one can DECEIVE as good as you can.

Great looking hotel. I'm wondering, if Wes and Loretta and Andi and the mayor and Scott Maxwell love high-rises so much, why did they decide to settle in a small town? If high rises are their cup of tea, they should pack it up and move to Aventura.

Lake Worth will never ever be DELRAY!!! So true! The economic drivers that enable a hotel like that to be built in DELRAY are the polar opposite of Lake Worth. Sure an example of a four story building but one that would make not economic sense unless you it is a 4 story barracks for a prison.

So sad but so true

There are only 2 things that are sad:
1) All the literature and junk coming from all you negative NO people who are lying and twisting the facts.
2) All of you who just have to lie to win and who are leaders in different capacities in this community. May you all RIP after March 12.

In 1925 the Pioneers built a hotel that was 100feet tall this is not a low rise city, plus several other buildings around town like Lakeside Castle, City Hall, and the annex are pushing 100feet. So I guess the people that where planning and building this city were not planning a low rise city, as Wes, Loretta, Andy, the Major, and Scott Maxwell also are not. So why don´t you pack it up and go someplace else.

The Pioneers through the years built one-half dozen tall buildings out of how many? I would say that they decided they had built enough high buildings and liked the low rise city. Back then perhaps we didn't have scuzzy politics and news editors not writing all of the facts. So, why should I leave? I've been here as a kid in the 50's. How long have you lived here? Are you one of those newcomers that Easton mentioned today trying to change our low rise city, a city we all love.

You have been here since the 50´s? That was when Lake Worth Towers was built, obviously you, or your parents did not object, and that is the tallest building in Lake Worth!!!!

As said, I was a kid. My Mom was a struggling working single mother. The towers was built around '66 or '67 to take a good guess. My mom was just moving here permanently in '66. Need any more history for your slap downs or does that put it to rest.
How long have you lived here...you did not answer that one.

Nice things can only be said and written about nice people. The vulgar, crude response to the truth is typical of that unsavory element which suffers from overblown ego, misplaced sense of importance, their insignificance of their contributions
-- Sewer minds produce sewer responses, products of vulgar progenitors.
Wish that we had one more good journalist like Lynn who writes impeccable English and writs the facts as she does.
Mark Easton is progeny of real beautiful Lake Worth of the Pioneers, and will consider the fact that he is supposed to be the civilized voice of the Press, which wants the best for Lake Worth. He of all people knows that the attraction for new taxpaying residents and tourism is Lake Worth as left us by the Pioneers, part of beautiful old Florida!
Based on his DIGNIFIED family's(EASTON) background he will support Lake Worth's character preservation and VOTE YES!
He will not resort to mudslinging,as his mother wouldn't and FATHER NEVER has.He will show Lake Worth a civilized, cultured side of Lake Worth, something he is always striven to have but now has been kidnapped by those self-servers who want to lie, cheat and denigrate to achieve an end.
