Absolutely agree with the above comment. Our government needs to take a stand for equality and allow gay marriage once and for all, stop allowing this inequality and unfair laws toward one group of people in this country. Gays deserve ALL the same rights as hetrosexuals have, right now they do not have it in THIS country, and that is why we have this division and all these problems, like with Chik-fil-A. Until gays can marry, file taxes together, have immigration laws for bi-national partners, etc. we will always have problems, there is too much hate and discrimination and inequality for gays in this country , and until it is FAIR for ALL, it will continue until it is made right.

I think it is very sad how gays for years, centuries, have been persecuted, discriminated against, hated, taunted, and treated like freaks, enough is enough. Gay people are people first, they are not some freaks who do not have feelings and needs. Calling them names, taunting them, hating them, persecuting them, it is all wrong and hateful. I feel bad for what blacks and women had to go through before laws were changed, gays deserve all the same rights and laws, gays do not have the same freedoms in the USA that straight people have now, I hate when people brag about how the USA is so great and we are free and have democracy, we do not have that for gays here. I understand why many gays move to countries like Canada, Germany, England, Spain, Argentina, etc. where they are treated equally and protected. Unfortunately, gays are always going to be looked at as being different, as being freaks, as being faggots, and inferior to heterosexuals, will the US lawmakers ever make it right for gays in this country? Will sexual orientation ever be accepted and treated respectfully by all? I doubt it, there is still a lot of discrimination towards blacks and women here and around the world, if they are still mistreated, gays have it 10 times worse. Bullying needs to stop, equality needs to start.
