It is a good read and just shows that there are many people who liked Stanton and were appalled at what this commission did. Shame on them.

That is great that our city attonrey gave her sucha great reference. When does our city attonrney get reviewed? And fired?

Fired for WHAT specifically? Because you just don't happen to like her? Is this another Stanton type of firing? Lynch mob? Legal issues take time to resolve. Have some patience.

Lynn,
You yourself have complained about the city attorney never having been reviewed. She is a disaster. When can we get rid of her and hire someone who doesn't spend millions of dollars on outside legal fees. Seriously, when DOES she get reviewed?

Interesting that this came from another blogger's site. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Another anonymous poster here regarding our city attorney. I remember this topic came up before a past commission as her contract was expiring. I think she had a 3 year contract. In the meantime, there has been a turnover of upper level staff. The HR was to propose some sort of policy for all staff to be reviewed the last I heard but then we got a new HR Director and fired the CM. Haven't heard a thing about this of late.

Thanks for the anonymous above who mentioned that the link came from another site. Did it? I reference things from The Wall Street Journal also and sometimes from readers. News is news, interesting or not or where it came from even Al Jazeera.

How soon we forget...change your mind?

Thanks for doing the research on my blog. Don't have the time to answer every little ? that you all pose.
No, I believe everyone needs to be reviewed--no exceptions. Thanks.

Enjoyed reading all of the letters of reference. Everyone who was called is respected and brings a viewpoint entirely different than Maxwell's. Several cited him directly and I believe this was a correct to do. She will eventually get a job that she wants. Good luck, Susan.

The commission hires, fires, and reviews the attorney. And directs her when to litigate and when not to. She's not making these decisions in a vacuum.

Heaven help us all with this majority commission directing staff at every turn. Pray everyone.

You are quite right...she doesn't make any decisions, ever. she is known as the weakset link at city hall..
