A Jolt for Jobs.

Click on the above link to read about a story in today's Palm Beach Post titled, "A Jolt for Jobs." It features clients who are being given consulting services by Suzanne Mulvehill through her contract with the Small Business Development Center as well as the 2nd stage consulting services she is contracted to provide.

"Economic development leaders want to tap the potential of second-stage companies to boost the economy. As part of a $2.6 million state grant, the Small Business Development Center at Palm Beach State College hired Suzanne Mulvehill as consultant to its Growth Acceleration Program (GAP) for a year and a half."

The article also covers what she presented to the commission at the National League of Cities Conference about how 2nd stage companies create the most jobs. This story demonstrates how it's happening.

Good for Mulvehill. She's the only commissioner with a brain for business. Real business. Not small-time sidewalk sales and green markets. She should have run for mayor.

Mulvelhill has a brain for business?
I hate to be disparaging, but if you have been to the Commission mtgs and have followed what went on during her time on the dais, and you still come up with that statement, then I just couldn't disagree with you any more.
I wish her well in her new venture, but as far as running our town and making good business decisions?
No way.

OK. BUT, can you please give specifics. What exactly has she done that turns you off? What major decisions have cost this city that the visionaries haven't agreed to as well?
