Voting to pay an interim city manager $50,000 for four months minimum and then changed their minds after 65 resumes had already been submitted. Then voted to go with a permanent city mgr instead.

Staff's advertisement of the position, compiling the commission criteria that took hours of staff time as well as digesting all of the applicant resumes and determining the top applicants.

Appointing Range Rider volunteers to sift through recycled city manager resumes and then didn't like the results of their short list.

Travel and lodging expenses for candidates to come here and interview as well as the same for Range Riders. Not to mention just losing a good city manager.
